R obert S. Shapiro received his Bachelor of Arts in 1969 from the University of Wisconsin and his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1972. Robert began his career in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he served as the head of the Juvenile Division of the Office of the Public Defender of Allegheny County.

After moving to South Florida, Robert assumed the role of Senior Trial Attorney in the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s office. In 1984 he entered private practice and in the course of his career he has represented thousands of clients in all areas of criminal defense.

An aggressive advocate for his clients, Robert has significant courtroom experience, including jury trials for homicide, drug cases, kidnapping armed robbery and other serious crimes.

In 2003, Robert opened the Traffic Ticket Legal Center and since then has helped thousands of satisfied clients achieve positive results in fighting traffic tickets and other moving violations. He continues to maintain a vibrant criminal defense practice in addition to his focus on traffic law.

In his personal life, Robert is an active member of his community, serving as the president of his synagogue and is the proud father of four children and an even prouder grandfather of twenty two grandchildren.
